Every Babushka Dance Designs costume is individually designed and handmade to suit your dancer’s music, choreography, age and performance style. Rather than choosing from a catalogue, you’ll receive a unique, one-of-a-kind design created especially for your dancer.
From your first enquiry through to the finished costume, you’ll receive personalised attention throughout the entire design process to ensure your costume is both beautiful and competition ready.

Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Song & Dance, Broadway & Similar Styles
Base Prices
● Size 4–8: From AUD $480
● Size 10–12: From AUD $520
These prices include:
● Original custom design
● Pattern making
● Quality fabrics
● Beautiful Appliques and trims
● Rhinestone decoration
● Professional construction
Waltz Tap / Slow Tap
Waltz Tap costumes are individually quoted depending on the style and amount of fabric required.
Average investment: Around AUD $680
These costumes often include additional layers, full skirts, extensive lace work, appliqués and heavier rhinestone decoration, so pricing varies according to the final design.
Optional Extras
The following can be added to your custom quote if desired:
● Custom matching headpiece — AUD $45
● Matching gloves — quoted as an optional extra
● Matching spats — quoted as an optional extra
Specialty trims, premium fabrics, beaded fringe, ostrich boa, extensive rhinestone work and other decorative elements can also be incorporated and will be included in your personalised quote.
Booking Your Order
As custom costume availability is limited, it’s recommended that you book your place as soon as you know your competition date.
You are welcome to reserve your booking even if your music or choreography hasn’t been finalised yet. Your costume design can be completed once those details are confirmed.
A AUD $100 non-refundable booking deposit after agreeing in a design and quoted price is required to secure your place in our custom order schedule.
